Located in the northeast of Ningbo city, Ningbo Economic & Technological Development Zone (NETDZ) is one of the earliest and largest state-level development zones in China. After nearly 20 years of efforts, a modern port-surrounding industrial system has been formed, including industrial clusters of electric power, chemical industry, automobile, modern paper industry, grain, oil, food, plastics, building materials and so on.

    Ningbo Economic & Technological Development Zone (NETDZ) has always been practicing the "green development" philosophy. Taking the lead in piloting the third-party treatment of industrial sewage, it has improved both the efficiency and professionalism of pollution control. In addition, it has become the first port area of the province in calculating the amount of land, trees, water and marine resources in the whole zone, giving full play to the value of resources.
